Doug MacRae Appointed as New P/M

Since Bill’s announcement that he was retiring, the membership has spoken freely and we have elected to have Doug MacRae take over the position of Pipe Major, effective immediately. Doug has been a dedicated member of the band for 12 years and is very committed to the new role. We are anxious to get back to business and with Doug, we are confident that the legacy of the 78th will be preserved. We have heard from many players who want to come aboard and contribute to the future successes of the band and we expect that with the news of Doug taking the reigns, the membership will continue to grow.
